Dr Dre born Andre Romelle Young is an American rapper and record producer with an estimated net worth of $820 million. He’s considered one of the world’s richest rappers alongside the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Sean Combs. Dre is the founder and CEO of the record label Aftermath Entertainment as well as Beats Electronics, a line of headphones.
Young began his musical career in 1985. After being a rapper for more than a decade he decided to concentrate on producing music for other artists through his record label. Andre was born in Compton, California on February 18, 1965, to Verna and Theodore Young. He attended Vanguard and Roosevelt junior high schools in Compton and in 1979, he joined Centennial High School. Dre was not a very good performer in class.
He often missed school and was at one time denied a spot in an apprenticeship program at Northrop Aviation Company due to poor grades. He attended Chester Adult School in Compton after completing high school.

The property, which sits on four acres of land features more than 18,000 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, seven fireplaces, a home sauna, a wine cellar, a media room, a six-car garage, and a library among other amenities.
In 1999 the record producer dropped $2.35 million on an 8-bedroom property in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
